I am back at full force and excited to share my latest project with Kio Kreations (flowers and styling) and Tara Etrheim Photography! This shoot also featured some delicious goodies from FudgeU (What a fun name by the way!) and was at the Arrowhead Golf Club up in the suburbs of Chicago.

The setting focuses on the flowers as well as handmade, DIY projects that you can recreate at home for the holidays or for a Christmas themed wedding. This setting is really versatile for either occasion!

I am going to share a few of my favorite photos from the shoot. I just love working with these ladies!

As always, the bouquet Kristen created is just divine. It says Christmas without screaming it with the typical Christmas greenery. I created some satin flowers and button stems for her to incorporate.

Everythign was so detailed! One of the button stems adorns the handle of the bouquet along with some ribbons and pins.

All of the deep reds are so beautiful. This centerpiece would look great at a wedding or in the center of your table on Christmas Day!

The card holder fits into the Victorian Wedding theme so well. The vintage postcards were such a great touch! There are instructions available for this project too!

The overall table scape is so rich and warm! The venue had a Christmas Tree already set up and it added a nice touch to the overall feel of the shoot.

This item is multi-purpose, which I love! It can start out by being a napkin ring on your place setting. Then, each guest (wedding or family member at Christmas dinner) can take it home and use it as a decoration on their tree!

This boutonniere may be my favorite piece Kristen created for the shoot. It just makes me smile! And against the dark red background…Love!

With the weekend and cold weather approaching, I look for inspiration for the work I have ahead of me. Things have been great with the business. We have been keeping busy (sometimes VERY busy). We really use the weekends to catch up and get things done as we both also work full-time during the week. Our schedules prove to be a struggle at times but we have it down to a science these days.

With all of that being said, I look forward to the work I have this weekend, and a few weeks/weekends to come. We work with some of the best brides out there!

One wedding I will be working on this weekend is a Beach Wedding! I can’t wait to see how everything will turn out for this one. The bride is awesome and I have been able to expand the products we currently create into something new and exciting. She has great ideas and that alone is an inspiration for us.

I know I have posted this photo at least one other time. BUT…I get to remake this bouquet in lighter blues/greens and ivory flowers for the beach wedding. I love love love this bouquet. It is definitely my Favorite out of everything I have ever made.

With the weather being as crazy as it has been, I have been searching the web for beach inspiration. I have found some amazing things! Make sure to click on all of the photos to go to the source. I had to get my mind in the light and flow-y mode. Blues and Greens. Soft and casual.

In other news, some updates will be made on the website this weekend. I have been working on some designs and we (well really the other half of RBK Creations) came up with an idea and we have been going full force with it. The goal is to have everything up and running (near perfection) by the first of the month as April will be HUGE for RBK Creations.
